Recharge and relax in the yoga retreat center in Kathmandu valley. Situated on the hilltop with breathtaking views of Sankhu valley next to the Panchamahalaxmi Temple, this is the perfect place in nature for you to connect your mind, body and soul. Nepal is the land of the Himalayan mountains and spiritual place of Hinduism and Buddhism. We will immerse ourselves in this beautiful country rich in culture, nature and religion. 

4D3N Rejuvenating Yoga Retreat in Nepal Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, transfer by private transport to retreat center. Enjoy a short walk to visit the nearby organic farm where the fresh produce is obtained for vegetarian meals at the center. Relax with a complimentary massage or steam bath. Evening yoga session, yogic breathing and mediation. Dinner and discussion. Silent time and Lights out.

Day 2: Refresh with morning yoga session. After breakfast, we take an easy 1.5-2hr hike up to the World UNESCO heritage site of Changu Narayan Temple for a guided tour of the historical temple, lunch at restaurant. Return to retreat center for evening yoga, pranayama and meditation. Dinner and discussion. Silent time and Lights out.

Day 3: Pre-dawn we set off by car to Nagarkot view tower for spectacular views of the sunrise over the Himalayan range. At 2,150m above sea level, enjoy breathtaking views of the major Himalayan peaks of Nepal like Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang, etc, on a clear day one can even see Mount Everest (8,848m) from here. Enjoy splendid views of the mountain ranges and then have breakfast in Nagarkot with panoramic views of the mountains (optional).

By car, we head to Bhaktapur the ancient city, known as the City of Devotees, having more temples per sq foot than any other place in Nepal. We will visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Pottery square and other temples, there are also various souvenir shops for some shopping. Visit Thanka art galleries and museums. Lunch at Bhaktapur then back to retreat center for evening yoga and meditation session. Dinner and discussion. Silent time and Lights out.

Day 4: Morning meditation walk followed by morning yoga session. Enjoy healthy breakfast. Relax and be rejuvenated by the yoga and hiking activities from the past few days. Check out and transfer to airport.

US$650/pax package includes:

Package excludes:

International flights, visa fees, meals outside of retreat center, single room supplement fees, visitor fees to Changu Narayan temple and Bhaktapur, additional massages, additional nights accommodation extensions. How to get there?

Travel Info: Nepal is served by Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. International flights fly directly from Bangkok to Kathmandu (Thai Airways), Singapore (Silk air), Malaysia (Airasia). Most flights in Europe transit in Doha, Dubai, Delhi. From the Kathmandu airport, we will pick you up and it is only 45minutes to an hour's drive to the retreat center.

VISA and Immigration: Visa-on-arrival is available at the Kathmandu airport. Please bring passport size photos for visa processing, or contact your local Nepal embassy to apply for visa before the trip.
